Sitting down to write this has been like pulling teeth. I have been starting and stopping, procrastinating for over a year. To be honest, I am not very creative. Also, I can barely operate a digital camera (sorry in advance).

I have been, for a few years now, a mass consumer of food culture. I cannot place exactly when or how it started, but I am glad it did. It is my passion, and the thing that consumes my brain the majority of the time. So much so that after college I strongly considered enrolling in culinary school. But alas, it was not to be. I guess I started a blog to share my passion. To pass on ideas and, hopefully, find others with similar interests.

A quick word on the name of this blog. I truely believe that as a lover of food you must be respectful of ingredients, and be willing to try any food that is prepared with passion and care. My hope is that some of these recipes will inspire a reader to try something new, or perhaps see food a little differently. By no means is this blog all about offal, it is not even a majority. However, the opportunity for faux alliteration was to good to pass up. I said I wasn't very creative.
